How do I attach my mouthpiece to the handle?
The mouthpiece attaches to the handle with a simple screw attachment.
Simply place the mouthpiece on the handle pointing forward (it will self-align to the correct position), and then twist the ring until you feel the click. For further information head over to the Mouthpiece Fit page.
How should I manage the water used in the reservoir of my Proclaim hydrostation?
We recommend using room temperature or warm water. It is best to avoid extremes of cold and hot, especially if you know your teeth and gums are a bit sensitive.
It is normal that a bit of water will be left in the tubes after a treatment, and this room-temperature water will be felt at the beginning of the next treatment. If this bothers you, you can flush a bit of warm water through the system before your treatment. Just add some warm water to the reservoir, point the handle into the sink (with no mouthpiece attached), and press the button for a couple seconds. Make sure to fill the reservoir fully to the fill line (and add your oral infusion, if using) before starting your actual treatment.
What do I do if the water jets are too intense for me?
We recommend you start at level 1 for your first treatment as you acclimate to the system. Increase your pressure level over time until you feel comfortable with level 5 (the recommended setting). This process will differ from person to person - increase pressure according to your comfort level, and consult your dental professional if needed.
How do I use the colored mouthpiece bands for multiple users in one household?
Because the mouthpiece is custom, every user of Proclaim will need their own mouthpiece, but they can share the Hydro Station. Mouthpieces are interchangeable and easy to swap out! Mouthpieces can be easily distinguishable between members of the household by using our mouthpiece identification bands - blue, teal, a light purple that can be found in the mouthpiece box upon delivery.
